Let this truth also cause believers more to prize the Lord Jesus Christ.  Consider that it is he, and he only, who defends you from wrath, and that he is a safe-defense; your defense is a high tower; your city of refuge is impregnable.  There is no rock like your rock.  There is none like Christ, “the God of Jeshurun, who rideth upon the heaven in thy help, and in his excellency on the sky; the eternal God is thy refuge, and underneath are everlasting arms.”
