Father in heaven,
bless Your holy name, and let all that is within us remember Your benefits. You forgive iniquity, heal our diseases, redeem our lives from the pit, and crown us with steadfast love and mercy.
Teach us the fear of the Lord. Keep us from the crooked way, from hardening our hearts, from hiding sin, from oppressing the poor, and from trusting our own wisdom. Make us people of truth, justice, humility, and repentance.
As You filled the temple with glory and heard Solomon’s prayer, make us a people who seek Your face. Humble us, turn us from wicked ways, forgive our sin, and heal what is broken among us. Purify our worship through Christ, the true temple and greater Son of David.
Remember those who suffer like Job, wounded by grief and misunderstood by others. Give them endurance, honest lament, and hope in their Redeemer. Guard us from being cruel comforters.
Sanctify love, marriage, desire, and beauty among Your people. Let covenant love be faithful, pure, patient, and joyful.
Father, as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is Your steadfast love toward those who fear You. Through Jesus Christ our Mediator, and by the Holy Spirit, teach us to bless You and obey You. Amen.
